The actual test

The test is divided into multiple portions

English

English consists of 45 min for 75 questions. These 75 questions revolve around grammar and commas, semicolons, transitions, and answering short questions about the placement of sentences or words inside of a passage. The paper version revolves around being given a few passages and each question relates to a certain point of the passage which is underlined.

This section requires fast critical thinking skills and you must be good at being fast with grammar decisions

Math

Math is 60 minutes for 60 questions, These question usually increase in difficutly, with the last 15 questions being the hardest in general. These are all calculator allowed, with the online version allowing desmos and you are allowed whatever calculator you can bring in. These revolve around many topics

Reading

Reading is 35 min for 40 questions, being given a few passages and having to answer contextual questions relating to both passage contents and what can be inferred. However, in general, all of the question content can usually be found in the passage, so being fast with underlining important parts and reading the passage first always helps

Science

Science is being pushed to becoming optional. It is now a 4$ addon and will not be factored into the composite score. Science is 35min for 40 questions. All of these questions are where you have to read about 6-8 sections with graphs and charts and scientific studies and each section is accompanied with questions that directly relate to the graphs and charts, and a few inference/data analysis and math questions. Calculators are not allowed on this section however they are not needed at all. Science is described as being "easy for stem nerds but hard for those who are not as experienced with data analysis"
